The breakfast was excellent, beautiful view from the room. We took a lovely hike down to the river in the morning.
I liked everything, but it would have been helpful to have an english language brochure at the hotel or in our room about amenities and services in the hotel as well as surrounding restaurants, activities and the bus schedule. There are only a few buses each day, and no schedule (that I could find) is posted. Although everything online about the hotel is in English, only one woman in the whole village spoke any English at all!

Excellent location, very friendly staff, well signposted from all main roads, very clean, most staff spoke some English and nothing was too much trouble for them

spacious rooms, lovely views. The food was very good and the terrace a lovely place to sit and have a drink.
The bar staff did not recognise simple English words.

It's a brandnew and good-looking very comfortable hotel with nice view over the hills - and has a nive pool. We had a very good dinner on the terrace. And it's close to Cordoba to do sightseeing.

The location is marvellous, set among the hills in a peaceful village, on the top with a beautiful view. The staff very helpful.
There was a small choice for breakfast.

The hotel is in the hills a 15 minutes drive from the center of Cordoba. It is in a quiet area and has a nice pool area.
The hotel was difficult to find. According to Booked.net the address was in Cordoba. (It turned out to be Santa Maria Trassierra). My navigator didn't recognize it. Using the coordinates we ended in a densely wooded area half a kilometer off the target. Also they turned out incorrect. We weren't warned of the kitchen being closed on Monday night. However the staff at hand were very creative in providing us with some food anyway.

Beautiful location in the Sierra above Cordoba. Fantastic view from the hotel terrace. Quiet and peaceful. The staff were helpful and accommodating with our baby. Spacious rooms, modern hotel, good value for money but with certain caveats...
Did this hotel run out of money before it was finished? It seems that the lifts have never worked and were probably never installed in the first place. Fittings and furniture seem to have been installed on the cheap after the economic crisis began in 2008. It is run on minimal staff as cheaply as possible. The swimming pool was non-operational during an exceptionally hot April with 30 degree temperatures. Breakfast is ok for the price paid, which is at least not a 3-star price. The bed was extremely squeaky. All of this is rather a shame because it has the potential to be a very good hotel charging higher prices.

Modern and new hotel.
After more than a year after opening, still dealing with startup problems, it seemed to us. We were the _only_ guests, in november, staffing was minimal, facilities were shut down and the place was freezing. Might be just fine in summer.

The pool was nice. Also, the hotel looks quite new.
Quite far from Cordoba. No glasses in the bathroom, and the towel hanger was off and on the floor... Breakfast quite poor.

The room was spacious and comfortable, nice pool. Good views of the pretty surrounding countryside.
No food seemed to be available in this largely empty hotel. The breakfast was disappointing - no hotel in Andalucia should use bottled orange squash! It's quite remote, very new but already starting to fall to bits. No internet connection available.

Close to Cordoba, up the mountains north of the city in half an hour by car, view from the hotel is very nice.
Bathroom no shower curtain or screen, which is very inconvenient! Hotel seems to be not 100% finished on details.

I liked the location and the quiet surrounding. The service was excellent and I enjoyed the dinner at the terrace. As I was travelling with 2 dogs, I was glad to be welcomed - this is not always the case in Spain .
